Livermore: Two displaced, cat resuscitated after house fire

LIVERMORE — The cause of a fire at a home in unincorporated Livermore this weekend is under investigation, authorities said.

At 3:34 in the morning Sun Alameda County and Livermore-Pleasanton firefighters responded to a report of a tank property attached to a home on fire in the 20000 block of Midway Road.

Arriving firefighters, joined by 2 Tracy fire engines, found the fire extended into the house’s attic.

Neither of the 2 residents nor any firefighters were injured, but 2 pet snakes died in the fire and firefighters were able to resuscitate a cat.
